New Real Word Data (RWD) Show A Breakthrough: Results Suggest that QHSLab may  Dramatically Lower Depression and Anxiety in Patients

Mental health disorders like depression and anxiety are increasingly common, affecting millions of individuals worldwide. Despite this, many patients go untreated or underdiagnosed, with symptoms growing worse over time. Fortunately, QHSLab is making significant strides in offering accessible, personalized mental health care. Our latest Real World Data (RWD) obtained across many practices indicate that patients who engaged with QHSLab's integrated health management platform seem to experience statistically significant reductions in clinical depression (PHQ-9) and anxiety (GAD-7) scores as shown in the figure above.

The Power of Data-Driven Health Care

QHSLab utilizes a data-driven approach, offering physicians powerful tools to assess and monitor patients' mental health. By digitizing validated assessments like the PHQ-9 (Patient Health Questionnaire) for depression and the GAD-7 (Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale), QHSLab enables timely, actionable insights that guide treatment.

A recent analysis, based on a sample size of over 3,600 patients with baseline PHQ-9 and GAD-7 scores greater than or equal to 10, showed remarkable improvement after engaging with QHSLab's platform. These findings have tremendous clinical implications.

Significant Reductions in Mental Health Symptoms

The platform users experienced a 10.86% reduction in PHQ-9 scores and an 11.53% reduction in GAD-7 scores, with effect sizes of 0.072 and 0.070, respectively. In patients with PHQ-9 > 10 at baseline, the intervention resulted in a 37.48% reduction in PHQ-9 scores. Furthermore, 58.2% of these patients improved to PHQ-9 ≤ 10 at follow-up. For clinicians, this translates to more effective treatment plans, improved patient engagement, and adjuvant treatments. Instead of waiting months for follow-up, physicians can track their patient’s mental health in real-time, adjusting treatments as needed. The convenience of digital monitoring encourages patients to remain committed to their care plans, often leading to better long-term outcomes.

A Holistic Approach to Health

QHSLab's integrated platform goes beyond just screening for depression and anxiety. Our platform connects the dots between physical, mental, and behavioral health, enabling a comprehensive approach to care. By allowing physicians to assess multiple dimensions of a patient's well-being, QHSLab delivers a tailored experience that can address the root causes of mental health issues, such as chronic stress, lifestyle factors, and co-occurring medical conditions. Patients can complete their assessments from the comfort of their homes, reducing the stigma and barriers often preventing people from seeking help.

A Step Toward Better Mental Health Care

The evidence speaks for itself—patients using QHSLab's platform seem to experience a significant reduction in symptoms of depression and anxiety. These outcomes highlight the power of integrating technology with healthcare to improve access, monitor progress, and personalize treatment. As healthcare evolves, platforms like QHSLab offer a promising solution to the mental health crisis.

With more and more individuals benefiting from QHSLab's innovative approach, the future of mental health care is brighter than ever. Learn more about our mental health assessments here.
